We did the training on layers on Asiimi Farm in Kampala, an already existing training centre. We focused on biosecurity, diseases and layer management. The participants of the training were all employees of farms, nutritionists or veterinary doctors. In November, the training was extended to Biwooma farm, where a new training centre and broiler farm was set up in collaboration with the Dutch Embassey and other Dutch companies.
During the training we focused on chick quality, brooding management and explained all about the new farm building and the automated systems which are used.
